  These guys are top-notch in the outdoors game. No big chain store in the area comes close to their product selection and expertise, especially the expertise. Great Miami Outfitters offers some gear for the hunter/fisherman, but their primary focus is on backpacking, paddling, and camping. In those areas, gear can be a big deal, and often choosing the right equipment has safety implications when out in a backcountry setting or on any body of water. Here is where the knowledge comes through far better than the big chains in the area, which mostly focus on the hunting/fishing aspect of the outdoors anyway. Even among local camping/backpacking stores I have visited in other cities I have lived over the years, I am proud that this store in my hometown area is the best I have seen so far in nearly all aspects. Out of 65 reviews as of this writing, a 4.9 average says it all. Good luck on the move to Centerville this year (2017)!
